HBO and the American Museum of Natural History are presenting an Earth Day special, "Saving My Tomorrow: Kids Who Love The Earth" on the HBO Family channel. The special will be airing on April 22 at 7 p.m. EST. The heartfelt musical special includes kids from around the world who are taking on our biggest environmental challenges. It's a mix of science, music, and stories of wildlife in danger.
The special is dedicated to the late Pete Seeger, there is a segment in "Saving My Tomorrow: Kids Who Love The Earth" about the historic cleanup of the Hudsom River, which was spearheaded by the folk music legend.
There will also be readings and performances by Audra McDonald, Jason Mraz, Karen O, and They Might Be Giants.
"Saving My Tomorrow: Kids Who Love The Earth" is directed and produced by Amy Schatz. It's a co-presentation of HBO Documentary Films and the American Museum of Natural History.
