New Director's Cut of 'Saturday Night Fever' arrives on Blu-Ray & DVD on May 2

A new Director's Cut of "Saturday Night Fever" will be arriving next Tuesday (May 2) on both Blu-Ray and DVD. The director of the film, John Badham worked with Paramount in 2016 to restore the film in 4K using the original negative and updated the surround sound mix.

What Badham also did was added scenes to the theatrical R-rated version, which now makes this new Director's Cut the definitive representation of the original vision.
The Blu-Ray version of "Saturday Night Fever" includes both the Director's Cut and theatrical version of the film, commentary by the director, a five-part look at the film entitled "Catching the Fever," several behind-the-scenes featurettes and many more things!
So to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this John Travolta classic, don't forget to pick up a copy of this new Director's Cut. It's already available on Digital HD.
