HBO to air 'Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing' on the fourth anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing

HBO will mark the fourth anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing with an encore presentation of the documentary "Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing." It'll be airing on April 15 at 2:00 p.m. EST on the main HBO channel.
The powerful documentary recounts the emotional experiences of three families as they strive to reclaim their lives and communities in the three years that follow.
Emmy nominees Ricki Stern and Annie Sundberg both directed "Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing." A DVD of the film will be available on April 17 and it will include a behind-the-scenes featurette that looks at the bond between the bombing victims and wounded veterans at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
"Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing" was a 2016 Peabody Award finalist. It was also produced in association with the Boston Globe, which won a Pulitzer Prize for its Marathon bombing coverage.
