Paramount TV and Anonymous Content options rights to Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles" books

It was just announced today (April 28) on the Official Vampire Chronicles Facebook Page, that Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have optioned the rights to 11 books from Anne Rice's best-selling series, "The Vampire Chronicles."
Christopher Rice, four-time New York Times Bestselling author and recipient of the Lambda Literary Award will be penning the series and serve as an executive producer. He will be joining his mother, Anne Rice, and Anonymous Content's David Kanter and Steve Golin.
"The Vampire Chronicles" is the latest project between the partnership of Paramount TV and Anonymous Content, which they have a first-look production deal for scripted TV programming across broadcast, premium, cable, cable and online audiences.
The deal was negotiated by David Goldman and Erika Kirkwood for Paramount TV, Creative Artists Agency, Christine Cuddy of Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo LLP on behalf of Anne and Christopher Rice.
