'Agnelli' debuts on Dec. 18 on HBO

HBO will be releasing a documentary about the legendary industrialist and jet-setter Gianni Agnelli. The documentary "Agnelli" will be airing on Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. EST on HBO. It will also be available on HBO On Demand, HBO NOW, HBO GO, and other affiliate portals.

Directed by Nick Hooper, the documentary chronicles the dramatic life of the charismatic head of FIAT. It features intimate interviews with nearly 40 family members, friends, professional confidantes, and rivals. Some of those people include his niece Diane von Furstenberg, Roger Cohen, Sally Bedell Smith, Jackie Rogers, Henry Kissinger, and Valentino.

"Agnelli" charts the highs and lows of Gianni's incredible life in five chapters:
  1. The Rise of the Fiat
  2. La Dolce Vita 
  3. The Years of Lead 
  4. The Coup 
  5. Edoardo 
"Agnelli" had its world premiere at the 2017 Venice Film Festival. It was executive produced by Graydon Carter, produced by Matt Parker, Carly Hugo, and Annabelle Dunne. The music was by Paul Cantelon.
