Meth Storm/Brent and Craig Renaud

The documentary "Meth Storm" debuts on Nov. 27 at 10 p.m. EST on HBO. The documentary shows the devasting impact of the drug epidemic in rural America. It's both a cautionary tale and a high-stakes drama told from inside the war on drugs.

Today 90% of the methamphetamine consumed in America comes over the border in Mexico in the form of the Superdrug called ICE.  "Meth Storm," tells the story of an impoverished rural Arkansas community and the economically-disadvantaged users and dealers addicted to ICE. The lack of job opportunities lands them in an endless cycle of poverty. It follows the police and DEA agents who are struggling to stop the cartels too.

Brent and Craig Renaud both produced, directed, and edited "Meth Storm." The associated producer was Stephen Bailey and the original music was by Amman Abbassi.

"Meth Storm" will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand, and affiliate portals.
