Tyra Banks to Host the City of Houston and Altus Foundation's Houston Gala

According to the Nov. 29 Newswire Press Release, legendary supermodel and mogul Tyra Banks will be the celebrity emcee and host at the Houston Gala on Dec. 8. 2018 at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston, Texas. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. The Altus Foundation and the City of Houston do this gala to raise funds for the Houston community and beyond.
The event will include stunning performances, celebrity attendance, a seated dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and more! The gala will also be honoring an individual who directly benefited from the Altus Foundation. You can learn more about the foundation here.
Last year, the Houston Gala raised $675,000 for the Altus Foundation and more than 1,500 guests were in attendance. Also last year, Houston police officer Noberto Ramon was awarded the Harvey Hero award for his acts of bravery and courage during Hurrican Harvey.
