John Wayne's son Ethan Wayne hosts a special block honoring his father's 111th birthday on May 26

HDNET MOVIES will be airing a birthday block for acting legend John Wayne on May 26 starting at 7 p.m. EST. The birthday block will be featuring special introductions by John Wayne's son, Ethan Wayne.
So the birthday tribute will include the two legendary John Wayne films "The Alamo" at 7 p.m. EST and "The Sons of Katie Elder" at 9:45 p.m. EST.
The block is also part of the network's Western Icons with Ethan Wayne, which started on May 18. The 10-nights of western classics celebrates both John Wayne and the legendary actors of his generation.
The "Western Icons" lineup will also include a 24-hour Memorial Day Marathon which here is the schedule for that (all times are Eastern):
