Documentary 'John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls' to debut Memorial Day on HBO

HBO announced yesterday (May 8) that they have set the debut for and confirmed the title of the previously announced documentary about Senator John Sidney McCain III. "John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls" will debut this Memorial Day, May 28 at 8 p.m. EST on HBO.
The documentary is produced and directed by six-time Emmy winner Peter Kunhardt and along with Emmy winners George and Teddy Kunhardt.
"John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls" is an illuminating, exclusive profile of one of the most influential forces in modern American politics. Following more than 31 years of public service, the six-term senior Arizona senator agreed to participate in the film shortly as being diagnosed with brain cancer.
The film features interviews with family, friends, colleagues, and leading political figures such as former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Senator Joe Lieberman and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls" will also be available on HBO On Demand, HBO NOW, HBO GO, and partners' streaming portals.
