Eva Green, Kathy Bates, and Ed Skrein attached to The Exchange's 'The Patriot'

Brian O'Shea (CEO of The Exchange) announced today (April 27) that Golden Globe-nominated actress Eva Green, Oscar-winning actress Kathy Bates, and award-winning actor Ed Skrein are attached to the new sci-fi thriller "A Patriot."
"A Patriot" is currently in pre-production. It boasts an original screenplay penned by Award-winning filmmaker Dan Pringle and Toby Rushton with Pringle also attached to direct.
The producers of the project are Adam Merrifield from White Lantern Film and John Giwa-Amu from Red & Black Films. Angus Finney is the executive producer.
"A Patriot" takes place in a future authoritarian state that has walled itself away from a world ravaged by climate chaos and resource wars. The story follows the unquestioning Border Corp Captain Kate Jones (Green) as she fights to defend the purity of the population until a chance discovery makes her doubt the authorities she has pledged her allegiance and life to protect.
