CINEMAX miniseries C.B. Strike debuts June 1

The CINEMAX miniseries "C.B. Strike" will debut on June 1 at 10 p.m. EST,, followed by other episodes subsequent Fridays at the same time. The company announced the news today April. 6, 2018.
"C.B. Strike" is based on the bestselling crime novels written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. The story centers on Strike, a war veteran turned private detective, operating out of a tiny office in London's Denmark Street.
The show will launch with three one-hour episodes based on the first book in the trilogy, "The Cuckoo's Calling," followed by adaptations of the remaining two books, "The Silkworm" and "Career of Evil," both of which will consist of two one-hour episodes.
"C.B. Strike" is a CINEMAX miniseries presentation in association with the BBC. The series stars Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger. "The Cuckoo's Calling" is executive produced by Ben Richards, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and J.K. Rowling.
