Sony Pictures has recently released a teaser trailer for "Superfly." The film that helped define a genre in its characters, look, sound, and feel is reimagined by Director X (director of legendary music videos). It's "Superfly" for a new generation.
The screenplay is by Alex Tse. The producers are Joel Silver and Future. The executive producers are Hal Sadoff, Aaron Auch, Matthew Hirsh, and Steven R. Shore. The cast includes Trevor Jackson, Jason Mitchell, Michael Kenneth Williams, Lex Scott Davis, and Jennifer Morrison.
