'General Hospital' tops the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy nominations

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today (March 21) the nominees for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The nominations were revealed on "The Talk."
The Soap Opera "General Hospital" got the most with 26 while "Young and the Restless" and "Days of Our Lives" both have 25 nominations. "Bold and the Beautiful" has 18 nominations and "The Bay The Series" has a total of 15. So those are the top five shows that have the most nominations.
Streaming services got plenty of nominations too. Amazon has a total of 49 nominations while Netflix beat it with 51 nominations. Though they weren't the only streaming services to received nominations others that did were YouTube RED, Hulu, Broadway HD, and even Facebook Watch!
The 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on April 29, 2018. Mario Lopez and Sheryl Underwood will be hosting the event too. To see a full list of nominees please click here.
