Vision Films and T-Cat are releasing the proactive new courtroom thriller "Created Equal" on DVD and VOD on Jan. 16, 2018.

"Created Equal" is based on the novel by Roger A. Brown. It follows the story of Thomas Reilly, a cocky, up-and-coming attorney who begrudgingly takes a case for Sister Alejandra "Allie" Batista. She wants to become a priest in the Catholic Church. Tommy files the suit against the Archdiocese of New Orleans for sex discrimination. As the trial unfolds an extremist concocts a plot to stop the heresy against the church. Tommy’s faith and convictions are tested, and as he’s challenged to question his purpose.

The director of "Created Equal" is legendary Hollywood director Bill Duke. The stars include Aaron Tveit, Edy Ganem, Lou Diamond Phillips, Gregory Alan Williams, and Yohance Myles.

"Created Equal" has had a great festival run in 2017 with such honors as Best Feature Film at the BronzeLens Film Festival in Atlanta, GA and Best of the Festival at the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival in Beverly Hills, CA. Also for the beginning of this year screenings have been sold out in New Orleans, New York City, and Los Angeles.
