The first trailer for Sony's "Slender Man" was released today (Jan. 3). It's about a small town in Massachusetts where four high school girls perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of Slenderman. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin to suspect that she is, in fact, his latest victim.
"Slender Man" was directed by Sylvain White and written by David Birke. The Slenderman character was created by Victor Surge. "Slender Man" was produced by Bradley J. Fischer, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Robyn Meisinger and Sarah Snow.
The stars of "Slender Man" include Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso, and Javier Botet.
