Seven movies advance in race for Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today (Dec. 19) that seven films remain in competition n the Makeup and Hairstyling category for the 90th Academy Awards. So here are the films:
On Jan 6, 2018 all members of the Academy's Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch will be invited to view 10-minute excerpts from each of the seven shortlisted films. After that members will vote to nominate three films for final consideration.
Final nominations for the 90th Academy Awards will be announced on Jan. 23, 2018.
The 90th Academy Awards will be held on March 4, 2018, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live on ABC at 6:30 p.m. EST.
