Acorn's 'Murder on the Orient Express' is a must holiday buy

Recently Kenneth Branagh's "Murder on the Orient Express" was released in theaters, which was a pretty solid adaptation. If you have a family member or friend who enjoyed it and is looking for a gift for them, Acorn's "Murder on the Orient Express" is the perfect gift.
If you want to show someone in your life who never got a chance to see David Suchet's performance as the Belgian Detective, "Murder on the Orient Express" is the perfect start. After watching this they will want to see more. There is a reason why many say that David Suchet is the best Poirot of all of them.

This version of "Murder on the Orient Express" was released in 2010 on PBS's "Masterpiece Mystery!" For those who thought that the most recent rendition had a star-studded cast, should know that in this version there was Jessica Chastain, David Morrissey, Eileen Atkins, Hugh Bonneville, Barbara Hershey, and Toby Jones. So there were cast members from"Walking Dead," "The Crown," "Downton Abbey," and that's not counting Jessica Chastain who is a two-time Oscar nominee or the superb actress Barbara Hershey.
The plot is also devilishly good too. Even for those who have read the book or saw a different version of it, will still be on the edge of their seats. It's also gorgeously appealing to watch too. You will even be surprised at how tense and gritty it is too. While Branagh's new one was good, this one is better.
"Murder on the Orient Express" is around 93 minutes long. Acorn's DVD edition is one-disc and the overall quality is top-notch. It's also currently available to buy on Acorn for $19.99 or you also stream it on Acorn TV too. So if you get someone (or yourself) a gift of Acorn TV, they will be able to watch more like "Murder on the Orient Express."
