Calling all romantics, there is a new streaming service for you called PassionFlix. The service launched last month on Sept. 1.
The service caters to the multi-billion dollar romance novel community. So they forged relationships with the top romance authors in the world to create feature film adaptations of best-selling romance novels.
It's a female-centric concept that was developed by three visionary women: Tosca Musk, Jina Panebianco, and Joany Kane.
NY Times Best Seller, Alessandra Torre's "Hollywood Dirt" kicked off a series of sought-after feature film adaptations. Emma Rigby and Johann Urb star in "Hollywood Dirt," which is exclusively on Passionflix.
Global romance icon, Slyvia Day's fan-favorite "Afterburn/Aftershock" is scheduled to release this November. In December Jill Shalvis' NY Times Best Seller, "The Trouble with Mistletoe" will be released. Rachel Van Dyken's "The Matchmakers Playbook" and Brenda Jackson's "A Brother's Honor" are set for an early 2018 release.
Passionflix has also optioned the rights to popular novels like Jodi Ellen Malpas' "This Man" series, Jennifer L. Armentrout's young adult fantasy series "Wicked," "The Driven" series by K. Bromberg, the "Dark Pleasures" series by Julie Kenner, Kristen Ashley's "The Will," and Maya Rodale's "Billionaire Bad Boy."
Along with those original films, the streaming service also has a multitude of romantic movies like "Roman Holiday," "America's Sweethearts," "Somewhere in Time," "Pride & Prejudice," "Wuthering Heights," "The Thomas Crown Affair," "Moonstruck," and "Sabrina."
The platform uses the "Barometer of Naughtiness," so a subscriber can select from 1 to 5. It all depends on what kind of mood you're in.
