"Same porch. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween. Release date 10/19/18." pic.twitter.com/IvptiZctyw— Jamie Lee Curtis (@jamieleecurtis) September 15, 2017
Curtis first played Laurie Strode in Carpenter's '78 classic and then in "Halloween II," "Halloween H20: 20 Years Later," and "Halloween Resurrection." It's the role that started her career.
David Gordon Green will be directing "HALLOWEEN" and John Carpenter will be both an executive producer and creative consultant. Carpenter and horror producer Jason Blum will be working together. So that is a match made in horror heaven!
Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are writing the script together too.
"HALLOWEEN" will be released on Oct. 19, 2018.
