Today (May 12), the CEO of The Exchange has announced that The Exchange has acquired the international sales rights to the horror-comedy "Tragedy Girls." The Exchange will be introducing and screening "Tragedy Girls" to international buyers at the upcoming 2017 Cannes Marche.
"Tragedy Girls" had its world premiere at the 2017 SXSW festival. The director is Tyler MacIntyre. The production companies are The Comeback Kids and New Artist Pictures, in association with Ardor Pictures.
The film is a twist on the slasher genre and is about two death-obsessed teenage girls who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small mid-western town into a frenzy and cement their legacy as modern horror legends.
