Squatty Potty recently enlisted celebrity comedian Kathy Griffin to star in a new ad campaign, but with the recent events surrounding Griffin, the CEO Bobby Edwards decided to suspend the ad campaign.

Here's Edwards statement: 

We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today, it was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for. In response, Squatty Potty has suspended its ad campaign featuring Ms. Griffin. We have acted swiftly and decisively to demonstrate our commitment to a culture of decency, civility, and tolerance.

 Squatty Potty is a small family business based in Saint George, Utah. They were featured on Shark Tank and are known for their hilarious, viral social-media driven ad campaigns. The company has sold more than 4 million products in the U.S. They are the designers and creators of Squatty PottyⓇ toilet stools and Unicorn GoldⓇ bathroom products.

Griffin has since apologized for the photo that featured her holding up a bloody head resembling President Donald Trump.
