ABC is bringing back 'American Idol'

It looks like "American Idol" is coming back, according to the May 9 report from the Hollywood Reporter. The news was first announced on ABC's morning show, "Good Morning America." There was much speculation beforehand if ABC was interested in the show or not.

 It won't be known until a later date on who will be the host and judges for ABC's reboot. The show is scheduled to come back sometime in 2018.

"American Idol" was on Fox and it lasted for a total of 15 seasons. First starting in 2002 and its first winner was Kelly Clarkson, which it's safe to say that she has had an amazing career since then.
