Monica Bellucci will be hosting the 2017 Cannes Film Festival ceremonies

It was announced today (March 20) on the official Cannes Film Festival Facebook page that Monica Bellucci will be hosting the ceremonies at this year's festival. So she will be hosting both the opening and closing ceremonies. Last year's host was Laurent Lafitte.

It was also announced back in January, that Pedro Almodovar will be the president of the competition jury at Cannes. So it's looking like a fun festival this year!

The 70th Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 17 to May 28.
