Sara Bareilles to deliver 'In Memoriam' performance during the 89th Academy Awards

It was announced yesterday (Feb. 23) that Grammy and Tony nominated singer Sara Bareilles will be doing the "In Memoriam" performance during the 89th Oscars ceremony. The news was announced by the show's producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd.
De Luca and Todd had this to say about their announcement:
The 89th Academy Awards are this Sunday with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the awards. The ceremony will be airing on ABC at 7 p.m. EST.
