EFM'17: Josh Hutcherson to voice lead role in DDI's 'Elliot the Littlest Reindeer'

 Jason Moring, DDI CEO announced today (Feb. 9) that Josh Hutcherson will be voicing Elliot, the ambitious miniature horse in Awesometown Entertainment's animated film, "Elliot the Littlest Reindeer." 

Hutcherson will be joining Samantha Bee, John Cleese, Martin Short, and Jeff Dunham.  Jennifer Westcott will be directing "Elliot the Littlest Reindeer" and Lucas Lynette-Krech will be producing.

The Executive Producers are Dan Krech along with Victoria Westcott of Elgin Road; Mike Seres and Michael Emerson of M3; and Jason Moring of DDI.

"Elliot the Littlest Reindeer" is based on a screenplay by Jennifer Westcott. The screenplay was named the best Canadian screenplay in all categories by Praxis. It's about after Blitzen announces his retirement on Dec. 21, Elliot has three days to fulfill his lifelong dream of earning a spot on Santa's sleigh during the North Pole Try-Outs.

Hutcherson is represented by Creative Artists Agency and the Beddingfield Company.
