"Ronja, The Robber's Daughter" will be available to stream on Jan. 27 for U.S. and U.K. Amazon Prime Video Members. It's is an animated adventure that is narrated by Gillian Anderson and directed by Goro Miyazaki. The show is presented by the Academy Award-winning Studio Ghibli and Saltkrakan. The series is based on the popular children's fantasy book of the same name by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstocking).

The show is already a hit in Japan, it won the International Emmy Award for "Best Kids Animated." The series is a 26-part story of 10-year-old Ronja, born a stormy night in a mountain fort, surrounded by her father, mother, and a loving band of robbers.  Well, she grows to be a strong girl. She befriends Birk, the son of her father's rival, and so begins the drama of her friendship and family loyalties.
