Yesterday (Jan. 25), The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The nominations will be announced on March 22, 2017, live on "The Talk" on CBS. So meanwhile, you can read the pre-nominations here:

So for those who received the highest number of votes will advance to the blue ribbon screening round, which is scheduled to begin on Feb. 20, 2017. That will then determine both the nominees and recipients. One thing to note though is the names of the entrants for the Young Actor and Actress categories will proceed directly to the Blue Ribbon Round.
