He was once the "People's Champion" in his WWF (now WWE) days and now The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson is the "People's Sexiest Man Alive." 

People made their announcement yesterday (Nov. 15) on who was their 2016 pick for Sexiest Man Alive. Their pick was of course 44-year-old actor and wrestling legend, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. So it's about time he was picked!

Last year's Sexiest Man Alive winner was David Beckham. If you're wondering, the first ever Sexiest Man Alive was in 1985 and it was Mel Gibson.

So congratulations to Dwayne Johnson! Also don't forget to watch his upcoming Disney movie, "Moana," which is coming out on Nov. 23.
