Did you catch which animated movies were submitted to the 2016 Oscar Race?

In case you missed the news on Nov. 11 (when the Academy shared the Press Releases), there were 27 animated movies that were submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 89th Academy Awards. 

So which animated features were submitted? Well here's a complete list of the 27:

  4. "Finding Dory"
  5. "Ice Age: Collision Course"
  6. "Kingslaive Final Fantasy XV"
  7. "Kubo and the Two Strings"

  9. "The Little Prince" 
  10. "Long Way North" 
  11. "Miss Hokusai"
  12. "Moana"
  13. "Monkey King: Hero Is Black"
  14. "Mune"

So those are the ones that were submitted. To know which ones will be making it to the next step, nominations for the 89th Oscars will be announced on Jan 24, 2017. The winner will then be announced on Feb. 26, 2017 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. It will be televised live on ABC at 7 p.m. EST.
