It's nostalgia time!
Tonight on ABC, the classic "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will be airing at 8 p.m. EST! When talking about Halloween staples, this one is a must watch for everyone. It's one of those sacred TV specials that hopefully will always be there for generations to come.
This classic program is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year too! "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" first aired on CBS on Oct. 27, 1966. Of course this would have never happened if Charles M Schulz didn't create the 'Peanuts' comic strip to begin with. That goes with all the other specials too (which look in November for a write up about the "Thanksgiving" special).
Bill Melendez had directed and voiced Snoopy in the Halloween special. The voice of Charlie Brown was Peter Robbins, the voice of Linus was Chris Shea, the voice of Lucy was Sally Dryer, and the voice of Sally was Kathy Steinberg.
