October is a time to indulge in everything spooky, so add getTV's TV block to that list. The Sony channel is celebrating Halloween with a festive Sunday block of biography specials and creepy classics! This event starts on Oct. 9, so this Sunday coming up.
Peter Lorre gets to be the first horror icon to be celebrate. Starting at 10 p.m. EST with "Peter Lorre: The Master of Menace." After the documentary is "The Face Behind the Mask." Lorre plays a deformed watchmaker with an axe in this classic horror flick. It will be airing at 11 p.m. EST.
Oct. 16 is dedicated to Boris Karloff with the documentary, "Boris Karloff: The Gentle Monster at 10 p.m. EST. After that at 11 p..m. EST, is "The Man with Nine Lives!"
Bela Lugosi is the next horror icon to be honored. Starting at 10 p.m. is "Bela Lugosi: Hollywood's Dark Prince." At 11 p.m. EST is the vampire film, "The Return of the Vampire." One to definitely not to miss!
