Natalia Almada's film "Everything Else" will have its North American premiere at the New York Film Festival

Acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Natalia Almada winner of the 2009 Sundance Documentary Directing Award and the 2012 MacArthur "Genius Award" Fellow, makes her fiction debut with the feature film "Everything Else." "Everything Else" is having its North American premiere at the 'Explorations' section of the 54th New York Film Festival.
"Everything Else" stars Oscar nominated actress Adriana Barraza (known for the films "Amores Perros" and "Bable"). Her character is Dona Flor, a 63-year-old bureaucrat living in Mexico City. This is her first starring role too.
The New York Film Festival Public Screenings are on October 14 at 6 p.m. EST at the Walter Reade Theater and Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. EST at the Howard Gilmann Theater. The New York Film Festival kicks off on Sept. 30 and ends on Oct. 16.
