Lin-Manuel Miranda to host SNL in October

Lin-Manuel Miranda is coming to Saturday Night Live, according to the Sept. 28 report from Entertainment Weekly. The busy Miranda (he won four Tony's for the hit broadway musical "Hamilton" during the summer and now he's working on projects like the live-action "Little Mermaid") will be hosting SNL on Oct. 8 at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC.

For those who were wondering, the musical guest isn't the most recent cast of "Hamilton." The musical guest is Twenty One Pilots. The Pop Duo are know for their hit songs "Stressed Out" and "Heathens." 

This Saturday (Oct. 1), Margot Robbie will be hosting Saturday Night Live and the Weeknd is the musical guest. So it looks like the Saturday Night Live is starting off right for October.
