Acorn TV announces their Oct. U.S. Premieres

If you aren't a member of Acorn TV yet, what are you waiting for? The streaming site is adding more amazing content coming up in October. The first is the exclusive U.S. premiere of "The Code" season two. The Australian political thriller returns with six new episodes. The series has won several awards including six Australian Film Institute Awards. So season two will be premiering on Acorn TV on Oct. 10.

The next exclusive U.S. premiere is season three of the TV series, "19-2." The show was the winner of "Best Dramatic Series" at the Canadian Screen Awards." For those who like "The Wire" and "Homicide: Life on the Street" will be interested in watching the series. The series will be returning for 10 new episodes on Oct. 24.

The last exclusive U.S. premiere is the series "Brief Encounters." It's a frank, fresh, and funny six-part series that follows four women striving happiness and fulfillment in early 1980s England. The series stars Sophie Rundle, Angela Griffin, Penelope Wilton, and Sharon Rooney. The six-part series will be on Acorn TV on Oct. 31.
