The Academy celebrates Michael Mann's 1995 classic 'Heat' on the big screen in September

The Academy will be celebrating Michael Mann's 1995 classic, "Heat" on the big screen on September 7, at 7 p.m. PT  "Heat" will be presented in a new 4K DCP, that was restored by Stefan Sonnerfeld (Company 3) and Michael Mann. The event will be taking place at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

After the screening, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Michael Mann, and other cast and crew will reunite in a conversation that will be moderated by director Christopher Nolan.

The event is sold out, but there will be a Stand-By Line. The number of Stand-By tickets available will be determined shortly before the start of the performance. For more information about the event, please click here.
