TCM and Ball State University has banded together to create an online course (it's free too)! The course is called, "TCM Presents Painfully Funny: Exploring Slapstick in the Movies." This course is part of TCM's own programming event, "OUCH! A Salute to Slapstick." The program will be airing in September every Tuesday and Wednesday.
So the course starts on August 28 and lasts for 6 weeks. The course will explore 56 classic films released between 1914 to 2004. Those who enroll will watch, discuss, and analyzed the best comedy gags.

- Daily emails with movie clips and conversation starter.
- Ongoing interactions with fellow film fans on the TCM message boards or at #SlapstickFall
- You don't need the TCM channel either.
- For students who successfully complete all the course requirements, they will receive a certificate of completion.
